What is the ITC45 State Blanket Contract?

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through the operational Services Division (OSD) has awarded FTG Technologies an award as a Category (1) contractor on the ITC45 State Blanket Contract. As an authorized vendor on this contract FTG Technologies can provide eligible entities any combination of telecommunications/data infrastructure non-construction related, low-voltage cabling services and maintenance.  The services are to include delivery of cable-associated hardware products and services, installation and interconnection, design configuration, planning, project management services, applicable deployment of services, training, testing and maintenance.

What products and services are available through this contract?

Products and services available through this contract include cabling, wiring and associated products that support the structures and services provided. Products include;

  • Premise (intra-building) cable wiring materials and hardware;
  • Campus (inter-building) cable wiring material and hardware;
  • Termination hardware and materials for premise and campus wiring including blocks/jacks, installation hardware, connectors, adapters, patch cords and cable assemblies;
  • Support hardware and materials for all premise and campus wiring including racks/cabinets and power protection
  • Patch panel hardware and materials;
  • Fiber optic wiring materials and hardware;
  • Fiber optic termination assemblies, hardware and materials;
  • Media converters;
  • Other miscellaneous layer 1, 2 and/or 3 non-application specific data transmission hardware, accessories and materials;
  • Solutions that may provide backwards compatibility between new cable plant, both fiber and copper, and legacy applications including; USB, DSL, Fiber Channel, KVM Extenders or SCSI.
  • Switch products that are not included under ITT29 or successor statewide contracts
  • Wireless access points, switches, antennas and other associated hardware, and management products
  • Cable record management  hardware and materials;
  • Network security hardware, components and materials (excludes such physical security equipment as CCTV, Card Access Systems, Surveillance Systems and other comparable security systems)
  • Applicable test equipment (hardware, components and materials) for above Items

Who is eligible to purchase products and services via this contract?

Eligible entities include;

  • Cities, towns, districts, counties, and other political sub divisions;
  • Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches, including all Departments and elected offices therein;
  • Independent public authorities, commissions, and quasi-public agencies;
  • Local public libraries, public school districts, and charter schools;
  • Public hospitals owned by the Commonwealth;
  • Public institutions of higher education;
  • Public purchasing cooperatives;
  • Non-profit, UFR-certified organizations that are doing business with the Commonwealth;
  • Other states and territories with no prior approval by the State Purchasing Agent required; and
  • Other entities when designated in writing by the State Purchasing Agent
